Big Progress and Even Bigger Excitement!
Hi friends — Dawn and Rich here with another exciting update from The Friendly Bark in Lynnwood!
We’ve been hard at work bringing our vision to life, and we’re thrilled to share that our dog training & enrichment zone is nearly complete! This dedicated space will be where pups and their people can grow together through positive training, enrichment activities including a sniff spot, and one-on-one connections. It’s been amazing to see it take shape — every fresh coat of paint and every new piece of equipment brings us one step closer to opening our doors.
Speaking of Training…
We’re so excited to share that two of our favorite local dog trainers are already getting started with classes at The Friendly Bark!

Both trainers are amazing partners who share our mission to create a kind, supportive space for dogs to learn and grow — and we couldn’t be happier to have them as part of The Friendly Bark family.
On the park side, we’re still waiting on the final permits to come through before we can begin the next phase of construction. We know it’s a slow process (and we’re learning patience right alongside our pups!), but we’re confident it’ll be worth the wait. Our goal is to make sure everything meets the highest safety and comfort standards — so when you finally walk in, it feels like home.
In the meantime, we’ve been loving all the adorable photos of the dogs who’ve pre-registered! Your pups’ happy faces truly brighten our inboxes every day, and we can’t wait to meet them in person for their behavioral assessments soon.
